Global Investors rents a Dutch
retail space to Hudson's Bay
Company ULC, operator of Saks
Fifth Avenue. Now it seeks a
subpoena to inquire into
Hudson's Bay Company's
asserted financial
distress.
On October
9 U.S. District Judge for the
Southern District of New York
Valerie E. Caproni held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Hudson's
Bay is objecting to the
subpoenas. Judge Caproni
ordered the parties to meet
and confer about the
objections.
After that, if
unsuccesful, any motion to
vacate and quash the subpoenas
is due November 5.
