SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 15 – The Pastrami Queen
deli at 1125 Lexington Avenue
has been sued by its workers
for failure to pay minimum
wage and overtime.
On March
15, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The workers say
the washed dished, set up
traps for mice, killed
cockroaches, and carried soup.
Now fact
discovery is to end by July
15, before a three to four day
jury trial.
The case is
Caballero de la Cruz et al v.
Pastrami Prince Inc. et al.,
20-cv-4643 (Cronan)
