SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 16 –
Aftern Sanderson was working
for Leg Apparel when their Ms.
Romanino repeatedly asked him
about his "boyfriend." He
sued.
On
September 10 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding.
Leg Apparel hired
a law firm / government
relations professionals firm,
which in in a pre-motion
letter noted that Sanderson
complained about being
compared to Nicki Minaj
without stating "the nature of
the comparison."
The firm says
that quotes about Don Lemon
prove nothing.
On July 2,
another conference was held by
Judge Woods, and Inner City
Press again covered it. Is
Daytona Apparel Group a
successor to Leg? The
plaintiffs say yes.
On October 21,
2021, Judge Woods held another
proceeding, and Inner City
Press again covered it. The
defendant wants to move for
summary judgment, which Judge
Woods explained to the
plaintiff who insisted he was
discriminated against.
On May 16, 2022
Judge Woods held another
conference. Sanderson said the
defendant have been in bogus
unsworn affidavits; his brief
is now due on May 27. He put
into the record Inner City
Press' July 2, 2021 article.
Judge Woods said things
submitted this in this (can?)
become judicial documents.
We'll have more on this.
The case will go
forward. It is Sanderson v.
Leg Apparel LLC et al.,
19-cv-8423 (Woods)
