SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 10 – Joseph McMaster was
sentenced to 90 months
imprisonment for meth sales in
2011 by U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Richard J.
Sullivan.
He went through
drug treatment in jail, and
tried AA (or NA) when he got
out. But he sold drug
again, to a Confidential
Informant.
On
September 13, now Second
Circuit Court of Appeals Judge
Sullivan held a sentencing on
this Violation of Supervised
Release. Inner City Press
covered it.
While there was
some talk at the end about
surgically redacting the
transcript of the open
proceeding, this much can be
reported: McMaster moved from
meth to date rape drugs, and
blamed another whom he said
wanted him to serve his jail
time.
Judge
Sullivan sentenced McMaster to
30 months consecutive to
whatever he gets in the
related New Jersey case.
This case - with
the transcript still out - is
US v. McMaster, 09-cr-466
(Sullivan)
