Jan 25 – Alfredo Bellow
Herrera and others sued a
group of restaurants called
MANNA for not paying overtime
or minimum
wage.
On January 25, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Arbitration was
cited. Judge Parker ordered
the defendants to upload their
claimed arbitration agreements
to ECF; plaintiff are to
consent to or oppose
arbitration by January 31.
If no consent,
defendants' motion to compel
arbitration is due by February
11, with reply a month later.
