SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 20 – Rashawn Whidbee was
charged with a gunpoint
robbery on 112th Street and
Madison Avenue in East Harlem
committed on September 27,
2014.
On January 20,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Edgardo Ramos held a
change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Back on February
5, 2020, Whidbee was informed
that the Attorney General
would not seek the death
penalty against him.
His learned
counsel dropped out. Now he
had pled guilty. The
sentencing is set for April
21.
The case is US v.
Whidbee, 19-cr-673 (Ramos)
