SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 13 – Guidehouse,
formerly PwC's public sector
business, has sued its former
employee Rizwan Shah,
including to prevent him from
filing a discrimination
lawsuit in the District of
Columbia.
On April
13, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Vyskocil asked, sensibly, why
that case in is SDNY and not
in DC.
The
response was that Shah's
employment agreement states
that forum lies exclusively in
the SDNY.
Guidehouse's lawyer requested,
and obtained, the sealing of
the joint pre-trial order and
an exhibit to it.
The case is
Guidehouse LLP v. Shah,
19-cv-9470 (Vyskocil)
