SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 8 – Seawolf Tankers sued
Laurel Shipping, after having
delivered "dirty petroleum
products" from the Caribbean
to Tanjung Pelepas, Huizhou,
China.
On October
8 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Along with
discussing a related case and
possible intervention, talk
turned to discovery.
Laurel
contemplates taking discovery
of Seawlf concerning the
conditions and maintenance of
the vessel, including its
seaworthiness at the
commencement of and throughout
the voyage.
Now the
motion to intervene is due
October 22, and depositions
are due April 15, 2021.
