SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 19 – Corey Cray was
indicted back in December 2019
as part of an alleged
narcotics conspiracy centering
around 137th Street and Willis
Avenue in The
Bronx.
Then in August
2020 he was in a superseding
indictment, adding firearms
charges.
On October 19
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Valerie E. Caproni held
an arraignment on the
superseding indictment. Inner
City Press covered it.
It was a
fast proceeding. Judge Caproni
advised that a cell phone is
not the way to connect to a
CourtCall proceeding, but it
was OK for this arraignment.
Meanwhile, a
co-defendant in case Patrick
Avila has pleaded guilty and
filed a sentencing submission.
This case is US
v. Avila, 19-cr-166
(Caproni)
