SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 7 – Tracey Smith was
charged as part of a narcotics
conspiracy, specifically to
sell crack.
On January 6,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Denise L. Cote held a
change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge Cote
asked Ms. Smith her age. 53.
How far did you go in school?
Tenth grade.
While one of her
co-defendants is seeking to
suppress evidence of
conversations intercepted
through Title III wiretaps,
Smith has her sentencing set
for April 8, with the
government sentencing
submission due on April Fool's
Day.
The case is US v.
Disla, 20-cr-52 (Cote)
