SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 19 – Lori Pollock has sued
the NYPD and Commissioner
Dermot Shea for gender
discrimination in
promotions.
On November 19,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Pollock was
in the NYPD for 34 years,
including at PSA-7 covering
housing projects in the South
Bronx.
Later she worked
at Bronx North Narcotics. She
was also the spokesperson for
the NYPD for crime strategies,
statistics and "data driven
tactics."
Now the
NYPD wants to move to dismiss.
The case is
Pollock v. Shea et al.,
20-cv-6273 (Koeltl)
