SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 30 –
Emergency Physician Services
of New York sued UnitedHealth
Group alleging failure to pay
a reasonable
rate.
On March 29, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
Complaint darkly refers to
"MultiPlan's Secret Road
Shows" and "Secret Internal
Whitepapers," claiming
violations of RICO.
Judge Netburn
listened then said she looks
forward to getting (more)
letters from the parties.
The case is
Emergency Physician Services
of New York et al v.
UnitedHealth Group, Inc. et
al., 20-cv-9183 (Nathan /
Netburn)
