SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 14 – Frederick Felicien
sued the United States and the
Workmen's Circle Multicare
Center for not having gangrene
treated.
On April
14, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
While the
other defendants could be
tried before a jury, the US
gets a bench trial under the
FTCA.
Judge
Vyskocil scheduled discovery,
through August 16, with
another conference on July 7.
The case is
Felicien v. USA, et al.,
20-cv-10561 (Vyskocil)
