SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 16 – Tyrone Glynn was
sentenced for 84 months for
the death of Heriberto Diaz at
3125 Park Avenue in The Bronx.
He is out on supervised
release.
On December
23, 2020 a violation of
supervised release proceeding
was held. Inner City Press
covered it.
The charges
included selling crack.
Several times Glynn held a
break-out with his CJA lawyer.
He agreed to
admit to specifications 7 and
8; the AUSA had agreed to seek
one year in prison for
that.
The judge impose
that sentence, but insisted on
continued supervised release:
two years.

November 16, 2022 - Inner City
Press was in the Magistrates
Court when Glynn was brought
in again, on a violation of
supervised release. It turned
out to be for failure to
report to probation. Glynn's
white shoe law firm stand in
counsel, who tried to convince
him to not seek bail, then
asked for it. But Probation
recounted previously failures
to check in. The Magistrate
Judge said release was not
possible at this time; the
District Judge to whom the
case was re-assigned, Denise
L. Cote, is soon hear it.
The case is US v.
Glynn, 08-cr-46 (Cote)
