SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 30 – Deckers Outdoor
Corporation owns shoe brands
including Sanuk, "a backyard
brand that was as much about
funk as it was about function,
as hip as it was hippie."
It has a Yoga
Sling Sandal. Now Decker has
sued.
On May 28,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Vernon S. Broderick held
a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Deckers accuses IT'S FRIDAY of
Mahopac, NY of violating its
trademark.
On May 28
Judge Broderick granted
default on liability, and
referred it to Magistrate
Judge Barbara C. Moses for an
inquest on damages.
The case is
Deckers Outdoor Corporation v.
It's Friday, Inc. et al.,
20-cv-10602 (Broderick)
