SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 4 – Ricardo Rodriguez was
caught on tape trying to sell
398 grams of heroin to a
government informant on
Crescent Avenue in The
Bronx.
On November 4
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New
York Judge P. Kevin
Castel held his sentencing,
after taking his guilty plea
on February 26, just before
the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Rodriguez' lawyer
began by asking for 24 to 30
months.
Once Judge Castel
decided on 60 months, the
lawyer asked again, what about
48 months? Judge Castel said
he was sticking with 60
months.
The case is US v.
Rodriguez, 18-cr-414 (Castel)
