SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 29 – Jose Dellon was
arrested on felon in
possession charges on July 28,
for having a loaded black and
pink Walther .22 caliber
semi-automatic
pistol.
Dellon was ordered free
on $50,000 bond by U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave.
The US
Attorney's Office did not
appeal to the Part 1
judge.
On September 29
the assigned District Judge,
Paul A. Engelmayer, held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The Assistant US
Attorney said it is clear that
the DNA on the gun matches
that on the defendant's
cigarette butt(s). Reference
was made to yet another SDNY
protective order.
Judge
Engelmayer began to set the
next conference for November 4
- then added that some people
have have stayed up later on
election night, and so set it
for another date.
The case is US v.
Dellon, 20-cr-474 (Engelmayer)
