SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 28 – A man named Mathis
Joseph appeared to plead
guilty to conspiracy to sell
oxycodone, on July 28
bere U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Jed S. Rakoff.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge Rakoff
asked Joseph to explain in his
own words what he did. He said
he had bought some oxy, then
that it may have been for a
friend.
Did you sell it?
Judge Rakoff asked.
The answer
wasn't clear, at least not at
first. Finally he said the
magic words. His sentencing is
set for October 19 at 4 pm.
The case is US v.
Mattis, 16-cr-246 (Rakoff)
