SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 18 – Mikal Leahr is
charged in a drug conspiracy,
and with assaulting a US
Marshal.
On February 18
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Sidney H. Stein held a
double change of plea
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered the proceeding.
Reference
was made to a possible life
sentence.
The assault a
Federal employee being pled
guilty to comes from a
complaint about Leahr, on
Concord Avenue in The Bronx,
throwing a USMS-owned
hydraulic door opener and
hitting Victim-1 causing
bruising and swelling of his
right
forearm.
Leahr was allowed
to remain free on bond pending
sentencing.
The case is US v.
Leahr., 20-cr-61 (Stein)
