SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 16 – Tobias Paulino was
sentenced in October 2018 to
ten and a half months in
prison for cocaine sales. Then
in August 2021 he was arrested
with cocaine and
heroin.
On November 17 in the U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York,
now Second Circuit Court of
Appeals Judge Richard J.
Sullivan held an in-person
Violation of Supervised
Release proceeding. Inner City
Press called in and covered
it.
In the
run-up, Judge Sullivan had
questioned why Paulino was
late, asking "It's not his
first time in the courthouse,
far from it, so what's the
explanation?"
Now
Paulino pleaded guilty to some
of the VOSR specifications.
Judge Sullivan
set sentencing, at Paulino's
counsel's request, for the
week between Christmas and New
Year, on December 28 at 2:30
pm. Inner City Press
aims to cover that as well.
The case is US v.
Paulino, 18-cr-148
(Sullivan)
