SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 7 – Hector Joel
Duprey Vazquez is in jail
awaiting trail on narcotics
conspiracy charges. In October
he fired his
lawyer.
On December 7, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Andrew L. Carter held a change
of counsel proceeding. Inner
City Press covered
it.
The new
defense counsel, Richard
Palma, accepted the assignment
and gave his phone number and
email address to his new
client, who asked when he
would be able to visit the
jail.
Judge
Carter said this was best
discussed off-line.
The case
is US v. Estrada, et
al., 18-cr-18 (Carter)
