SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 30 – Jamarri Reid is
charged in connection with a
shooting in front of the
bodega at 4027 Laconia Avenue
in The Bronx. He applied to be
released on bond.
On March 30, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John P. Cronan held a
detention hearing. Inner City
Press covered it.
The US
Attorney's Office said the
defendant was picked out in a
Six Pack photo array, and that
a CCI Blazer .380-caliber
shell casing was
found.
The defense
tried its best, but Judge
Cronan at the end found no
conditions or combination of
conditions that could assure
the safety of the community.
He ordered
the defendant to remain
detained.
The case is US v.
Reid, 21-cr-174 (Cronan).
