SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 12 – Greg Miller
immigrated to the United
States and got a job in NYC's
Diamond District, which he
lost in 2010. Then he engaged
in Health Care
Fraud.
On September 11
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla
held his sentencing. Inner
City Press covered
it.
Miller's lawyer
quoted Upton Sinclair, that
"it's hard to get a man to
understand something when his
salary depends on him not
understanding it."
He said that his
client's "amateurish efforts
to pad his bills was easily
seen through, and failed in
the majority of case."
Nevertheless,
Miller is to submit a proposed
surrender date by September
14.
The case is US v.
Miller, 20-cr-134
(Failla)
