SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 30 – Lionel Lewis was
riding a bike on 113th Street
and Second Avenue on June 24,
2015 when a police car hit
him. He
sued.
On November 30,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The City wants to
move for summary judgment on
the grounds that Lewis'
excessive force claim is
barred by the statute of
limitations and "no reasonable
juror could believe
Plaintiff's version of the
facts."
But
couldn't they?
The case is Lewis
v. City Of New York, et al.,
18-cv-5510 (Koeltl)
