SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 19 – Theresa Harrison sued
the Port Authority of NJ and
NJ for discrimination.
On
February 4, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
William H. Pauley III held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Pauley expressed frustration
that the parties thought they
would get nine days for case
like this, and essential
conduct their depositions on
the witness stand.
He asked
about a particular entry, that
a witness would testify if the
"authenticity" of another
witness was questions. The
response was that the FAA said
its personnel cannot testify
in court.
This is a Federal
court, and a Federal case,
Judge Pauley said, adding that
no bureaucrat would determine
who could testify.
He told the
parties to confer and tighten
up their pre-trial order.
The case is
Harrison v. Port Authority of
New York and New Jersey,
17-cv-6281 (Pauley)
