SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 18 – Dedra De La Rosa, in
a wheelchair, has sued for
being not able to access
Necessary Clothing, Inc. in
442
Broadway.
On February 18
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Two defendants
have not appeared, and are
said to be dodging service of
process while pursuing their
own lawsuit in New York State
court.
Judge Ramos gave
permission to try to serve
them at home, after which
"we'll see" whether default
judgment will be appropriate.
The case is De La
Rosa v. Lam et al.,
19-cv-10317 (Ramos)
