SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 27 – Daquan Anderson was
to be arraigned on April 27 on
charges of being a felon in
possession of ammunition, to
wit, a Winchester 9mm Luger
bullet.
U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil was
set to hold the arraignment.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge Vyskocil
inquired into a possible
appearance of conflict, in
that the defense attorney's
wife worked at her former law
firm. But it seemed they did
not intersect.
But there
was a more serious problem:
the defendant has not seen a
copy of the indictment.
There were moves
to e-mail a copy to the
Marshals. But ultimately it
was said the arraignment will
be continued to a later date.
The case is US v.
Anderson, 21-cr-241
(Vyskocil)
