SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 7 – Hossein Wasiri
was charged with wire fraud
and identity theft for
stealing $1.5 million from a
business that hired him in
Yorba Linda, California.
On December 7, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Andrew L. Carter held a change
of plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
proceeding was subject to
consecutive interpretation,
with the defendant repeatedly
saying what sounded like
"vale" or "valley" for Yes,
when asked if he pleaded
guilty.
