SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Aug 3 – Jamar Miller was
indicted in 2010 on narcotics
charges. It was unsealed only
in 2019. On August 3 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Jed S. Rakoff held a
violation of supervised
release proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Miller
after relief under the First
Step Act was detained on the
VOSR on July
23.
Rather than three
months, Judge Rakoff sentenced
Jamar Miller to six weeks
imprisonment, to be followed
by five years of supervised
release.
The case is US v.
Miller, 10-cr-94 (Rakoff)
