SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 7 – Su Wei sued
Sotheby's, as owner of the
Zhou Zhu Hu, an important
ritual bronze wine vessel from
the middle Western Zhou
Dynasty, 10th-9th century
BC.
On
November 6, 2020 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
At issue was
conflict of interest, whether
one of the law firms involved
should be disqualified. Judge
Caproni set to schedule to
consider that, and stayed
discovery pending resolving
the issue.
The case is Su v.
Sotheby's Inc., 17-cv-4577
(Caproni)
