Jimenez-Ventura is charged
with access device fraud, that
is, misuse of other people's
credit cards to the tune of
$60,000.
On
December 7, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Andrew L. Carter held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defendant has a retained
rather than assign counsel,
who told Judge Carter he was
hopeful of a pre-trial
resolution which usually means
guilty plea to a lesser
included offense.
Judge Carter urge
the parties to explain a
pre-trial disposition before
the next conference, set for
March 8.
