SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 22 – Michael S. McCants
sued Team Electric, Inc. after
he was inappropriately touched
at a job site at 12 East 89th
Street in Manhattan.
On June 21,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Gregory H. Woods
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Woods asked why he had been
written to, when the case
which was initially before
Judge Alison J. Nathan was
referred to Magistrate Judge
Robert W. Lehrburger. Counsel
argued that an order to
arbitrate was not being
complied with.
After
acrimonious argument, Judge
Woods reiterated to take to
Magistrate Judge Lehrburger,
setting a deadline of June 30.
The case is
McCants v. Team Electric,
Inc., 19-cv-9565 (Woods)
