SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 5 – Juan Roberto Ramirez,
Jr. is set to be sentenced on
drug charges on July 1. He is
detained in the MDC and he
needs medical
attention.
On May 5,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Victor Marrero held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Ramirez' lawyer
asked to know the date on
which his client will be take
out for medical treatment.
The answer was
that giving the date could
lead to family members or
supporters showing up. So the
date will only be given to
Judge Marrero, ex parte.
The case is
US v. Ramirez, 19-cr-579
(Marrero)
