SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 26 – Kenya Thomas sued the
City of New York for being
unlawfully detained for four
hours.
On October
26 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge J. Paul Oetken held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
complaint says an officer
conducted a "search including
touching between Thomas'
thighs." There is no
settlement.
Judge Oetken, who
just finished the Lev Parnas
trial, set a trial in this
case for the week of February
7, 2022.
The case is
Thomas et al v. City of New
York et al., 17-cv-8593
