SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 14 – The non-profit
Environmental Working Group
reached a partnership /
marketing deal with Healthy
Lifestyle Brand in 2014.
But things did
not go well and now the latter
has sued the
former.
On March
12, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Edgardo Ramos held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Ramos asked if the parties
were discussing settlement.
One lawyer said they had made
an offer, which had been
denied.
The other started
giving the reason for denial.
Judge Ramos said he does not
get involved in settlement
talks. And so it proceeds.
The case is
Healthy Lifestyle Brand v.
Environmental Working Group,
