SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 21 – William and
Paula Hunnicutt sued
Wintergarden Ltd as an
unlicensed home improvement
contractor.
On April
21, 2021, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge John P.
Cronan held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The parties
had arbitrated, with
Arbitrator Robert A. Rubin
finding that the defendant was
not authorized to do business
in New York, and awarding
himself $1,250 in fees. Now in
SDNY, there will be motion
practice.
The case is
Hunnicutt et al v.
Wintergarden Ltd et al.,
21-cv-1509 (Cronan)
