SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 27 – Andjela Stefanovic of
Queens, New York worked as a
server at Heidelberg
Restaurant at 1648 Second
Avenue in Manhattan at such
tasks as "checking all the
beer lines, tapping beers,
stocking schnapps, lemons,
limes, cherries, olives and
horseradish." But no overtime
was paid.
On
June 4, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrate Judge
Kevin N. Fox held a
proceeding, which Inner City
Press covered.
Notably, in
this time of Coronavirus, it
was said that the restaurant
is still closed. So the time
for discovery was extended to
September 30, 2020.
Judge Fox asked,
as he does, if there was
anything else "before I
release you." There was not.
The case is
Stefanovic et al v. Old
Heidelberg Corp. et al.,
18-cv-2093 (Swain / Fox).
