SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 16 – Mustafa Fteja on
behalf of himself and others
similarly situated filed a
Fair Labor Standards Act
lawsuit against Nusret Gokce
a/k/a the Salt Bae and his
restaurant Nusret Steakhouse.
On July 16 U.S.
District Court of the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
The
plaintiffs' counsel said that
they had reached all by one of
over 200 class members, using
skip-tracing and the like, for
a settlement agreement.
They acknowledged
that 24 have opted-out, 14 to
their former associate William
Brown of Brown Kwon & Lam,
with whom they are now in
litigation.
