SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 22 – Damon Williams sued
National Railroad Passenger
Corp. or Amtrak after a
trespasser punched him, as a
conductor, in the head several
times on August 29, 2021.
On
October 21, 2022, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Jennifer L. Rochon held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Rochon
asked why a deposition had
been scheduled after
the stated end of discovery.
An apology
ensued, which was accepted.
Judge Rochon ruled the
discovery is now due by
December 20, with another case
management conference on
December 14 at noon.
The case is
Williams v. National Railroad
Passenger Corp., 22-cv-1647
