SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 12 – Odalys Rojas was
charged with selling drugs in
the Clason Point Houses in the
Bronx. Now he needs a new
kidney
On November
12 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Valerie E. Caproni held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Rojas' lawyer
said dialysis won't work, he
needs a transplant. Judge
Caproni called not the biggest
drug crime seen in the SDNY
but nonetheless serious.
Still, she
sentenced Rojas to five years
supervised release and wished
him well with his health.
The case is US v.
Rojas, 20-cr-182 (Caproni)
