SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 14 – Alexander Gerding
wanted to train his dog in
dock diving. But, he now
alleges, North American Diving
Dogs LLC "exploits the market
of the dog dock diving" in New
York State. He
sued.
On December 29, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Andrew L. Carter held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
NADD wants to
file a motion to dismiss, and
will be allowed to. But in the
docket is Gerding's December
15 request for clerk's
certificate of default against
them.
Judge Carter said
not to worry, default will not
be entered. So, the motion to
dismiss.
The case is
Gerding v. American Kennel
Club et al., 21-cv-7958
(Carter)
