May 17 – Rafael Maldonado
Rosete sued Royal Kebab and
Curry, Aangan of India LLC and
others (as a single integrated
enterprise) for violations of
the Fair Labor Standards
Act.
On
May 17, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrate Judge
Sarah L. Cave held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
Some
of the defendants have never
shown up in the case. Some
have, but did not show up on
May 17.
Judge Cave
issued an Order to Show Cause
giving them until May 24 to
explain their absence or face
default.
