SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 27 – Vickie Jeffreys
sued Estee Lauder Companies
for violations of the Fair
Labor Standards Act. It became
a class action, and now has
settled.
On
April 27, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge John P. Cronan
held a fairness hearing under
Cheeks v. Freeport Pancake
House, Inc. 795 F.2d 199 (2d
Cir. 2015). Inner City Press

There has been a full day of
mediation by JAMS mediator
Marc E. Isserles.
It was
successful. Judge Cronan
approved the settlement and
attorneys fees of $142,768.68.
