SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 27 – Guangcheng Chen
sued Matsu Japanese Fusion, on
his own behalf and on behalf
of others similar situated.
His lawyer sent
out notices in envelopes with
the restaurant's
logo.
On January
27 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Jesse M. Furman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defendant complained about the
envelope as misleading, and
about a typo repeated three
times in the notice.
They said the
plaintiffs' firm had done this
before, in a case in the
Eastern District.
Judge Furman said
these were side issues, while
advising the firm to think
again about its envelopes in
the future.
The case is Chen
