SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 12 – Othman Ibela sued
Allied Universal for
employment discrimination.
On July 12, 2022
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Robert W.
Lehrburger held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Allied says
Ibela "abandoned" his post at
Forest Hills South, and was
told to report to Syosset for
counseling to go over proper
protocol.
Judge Lehrburger
inquired, then urged Ibela to
made a written demand, so that
Allied can see whether it
believes a settlement
conference makes any sense. A
schedule was established.
The case is Ibela
v. Allied Universal,
20-cv-3800 (Carter /
Lehrburger)
