SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Aug 30 –
Vincent O. Ezeiruaku sued
American Express and they did
not appear. He said after
member an AmEx "member" for 35
years, they refused to refund
airplane tickets to Lagos,
Nigeria - and charged his
daughter 29 times for them.
On August
28 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
plaintiff expressed interest
in who might be on the call;
Judge Liman correctly said,
it's an open proceeding.
Judge Liman ruled
that Defendant did not apeal
and that a motion for default
judgment is scheduled for
September 18.
This is AmEx. The
case is Ezeiruaku v. American
Express Company, 20-cv-4004
