SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 21 – Jaime Baez-Medina was
found with a .40 caliber Smith
& Wesson firearm on Willis
Avenue and 138th Street in The
Bronx on August 24, 2019. He
had previously been convicted
of a felony.
On December 21,
2020 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John G. Koeltl held
a change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Baez-Medina pleaded guilty. He
has been detained on consent
without prejudice, as the
saying goes, since January 6,
2020.
Judge
Koeltl said he had seen the
Government's Pimintel letter -
he explained that is the name
of a case - and set the
sentencing for April 9 at 9
am.
The case is US v.
Baez-Medina, 20-cr-24 (Koeltl)
