SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 4 – Ricardo Ayala
pleaded guilty to moving a
package with heroin in it. He
is an addict.
On March
4, U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Denise L. Cote held a
sentencing proceeding. Inner
City Press covered
it.
Ayala spoke
movingly about getting his
life together, and good times
he had had with his children
and family.
Judge Pauley
showed mercy, sentencing him
to time served plus sixty
days, following by three years
of supervised release.
