SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 6 – Jason Mojica was
convicted of selling a gun and
ammo to a confidential
informant in a bathroom of the
Port Authority Bus Terminal in
2018.
He had traveled
to Florida to buy the gun,
then came back to New York to
sell it.
On
November 13, 2020 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it, and noted, there
was little to no information
in the public docket.
And now on
April 6, 2021, Mojica appeared
again before Judge Abrams,
this time to plead guilty (to
Specifications 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
and 10). Judge Abrams
sentenced him to 24 months and
one year of Supervised
Release.
The case is US v.
Mojica, 19-cr-280 (Abrams)
