SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 15 – Jason Mojica was
convicted of selling a gun and
ammo to a confidential
informant in a bathroom of the
Port Authority Bus Terminal in
2018.
He had traveled
to Florida to buy the gun,
then came back to New York to
sell it. Now he is
in the Essex County Detention
Center, subject to a medical
order.
On
November 13 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
There is a
hearing coming up, with
Mojica's lawyer speaking
darkly about hearsay. But
because it is on a Violation
of Supervised Release, there
is little to no information in
the public docket.
The case is US v.
Mojica, 19-cr-280 (Abrams)
